Mr. Hess is Past President of the Marathon County Bar
Association and is a member of the American Bar Association, Marathon
County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Byll is also a member of the Business Law, Taxation, International Law and Office
Practice Management sections of the ABA and the State Bar of Wisconsin and the
Real Property Section of the State Bar.
He serves on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a
member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
He has devoted many years of service to civic and charitable organizations, including two
terms as president of the United Way of Wisconsin and eight years as a member of
the United Way of America's National Board of Governors. He also serves on the advisory board of the Salvation Army
and is a member of the Wausau Rotary
Club.
Mr. Hess has an extensive practice in the fields of business law, estate
planning, real estate and municipal government law.
